"Daily Chalk" - It's The Little Things.
A friend sent this to me.
"It's the little things."
Isn't that the truth. You just get up to speed and it seems like all might be working out well...and then something really small totally messes with your life. Whether it is a kiddo who is having a hard night or a flat tire on the way to work: life has its thumb-tacks. I guess it is good for character building, but it sure would be nice to have smooth sailing for a little while.

"Daily Chalk' - Happy Summer!
This winter was long and this summer is short! But Hot! :) I guess it feels the need to make up for lost time. Our family is really enjoying the heat wave. Since we live in North Idaho Summer doesn't usually get here until late June. These last couple of weeks our kiddos have been able to enjoy the 8'(across, not deep) pool and a new slip and slide. We have gone bike riding and a little hiking as well. I hope that you find some time to enjoy yourself this summer. Maybe you could even try to rediscover how to make a real glass of lemonade.(a lost art in our instant society) All that to say, happy summer from ChalkShirts!

"Auntie's Notes" July 2012
After the exciting news that Auntie's wanted to sell our shirts in their store I was wonderfully surprised that by a phone call from Lois Hughes, the events coordinator at Aunties Bookstore. She wanted to interview us for their July Newsletter! It was a fun interview and she was a pleasure to talk with. Even more surprising was the fact that they put us on the front page. Thank you Auntie's.
